Mindfulness by Thich Nhat Hanh
~The real home, "here and now"~
Sister Kinh Nhiem, who played a central role in the well-received meditation session at Kosei-in Temple during the Plum Village monks' tour of Japan in March last year, will be invited back to Kosei-in Temple to hold a Plum Village-style one-day meditation session. Sister Kinh Nhiem is a direct disciple of Thich Nhat Hanh and has served as his attendant for many years, having been in closer contact with his teachings than anyone else and deeply embodying his wisdom. With her cheerful personality and careful attention to detail, she creates a safe and secure space.
Practicing mindfulness deepens your awareness of the here and now and returns you to yourself. By doing so, you realize that your true home is in the here and now. Spending a day of mindfulness will be a good opportunity to regain your connection with the vibrant life force within you.

"True innovation that connects to the future"
“True Innovation for Tomorrow”
Today, as science and technology, such as artificial intelligence, rapidly develops, the role of innovation is increasingly being recognized around the world as a key to solving global issues such as climate change. Innovation, whether in science and technology, policy, or civil society, is expected to contribute to the well-being of society as a whole. However, with diverse definitions of "well-being" existing at the individual, ethnic, and national levels, is it possible for innovation to contribute to the well-being of society as a whole? If so, what would it look like?
In this seminar, we will explore the contours of "true innovation" that will lead to a future of well-being for all of society from the perspective of "mindfulness," which means being fully in the present.

Mindfulness by Thich Nhat Hanh
~Living with a smile ~
We have invited Sister Kinh Nghem and Sister Chai to Fukushima for a one-day meditation session. The venue will be near the coast, and we hope to enjoy a walking meditation along the coast of Fukushima, which was the wish of Master Thich Nhat Hanh, together with the participants, enjoying each step.
We will take our time to enjoy Plum Village's mindfulness practice, which focuses on breathing and smiling, as taught by Master Thich Nhat Hanh.
