Learning from the teachings of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh
Mindfulness Day for Medical Professionals, Psychologists, and Caregivers
"Mindfulness as a source of care
~Healing others begins with healing yourself"
This is a one-day workshop (similar to a one-day retreat) led by a veteran monk from Plum Village, where participants will gain deeper insight into life and healing through sermons and practical guidance.
The event is primarily aimed at medical, psychological, and nursing professionals, but anyone can participate, including those with an interest in mindfulness and self-care, and caregivers who care for family members.
The healing that caregivers receive leads to healing for the patients and loved ones they serve.
Mindfulness at Plum Village values collective energy, but we encourage you to immerse yourself in the warm, gentle energy of mindfulness that permeates the venue, along with the wise teachings of the monks, and use this to bring healing to yourself and your loved ones.

Wake Up! ~Awareness Day for Young People~
The target participants are people between the ages of 18 and 35. Together with the monks, let's create a gentle time while experiencing mindfulness that can be practiced in daily life.
Specifically, we practice "being aware of the present moment" together. We spend some time relaxing, sitting or lying down, eating lunch, or walking in the park.
In addition to practicing mindfulness in this way, which can be incorporated into daily life, there will also be a Q&A session where participants can ask the monks questions about the difficulties faced by the younger generation in life, as well as worries about work, the future, and human relationships at home, work, and school, as well as a sharing time where participants can share their daily thoughts with each other.
Let's spend some mindful time together at Heidenji, a Soto Zen temple in Kitanagoya City!
