Friends from all over the world are invited to practice walking meditation
and chanting for peace together.
Plum Village Monastics Visit Hiroshima for the First Time
There are still ongoing conflicts, invasions, and bombings in the world.
From Hiroshima, a place of great suffering and prayer for peace, we invite you to practice “Being Peace” together, now.
Atomic Bomb Dome on the side of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park
Plum Village sister will play a violin that survived the Russian Revolutionand the Atomic Bombing of HiroshimaContinuing the sound of peace for 100 years and beyond
Mr. Sergei Palchikoff fled Russia to Japan and became a music teacher at Hiroshima Jogakuin School. He was exposed to radiation in Hiroshima. His violin, which represented his homeland to him, was later donated to Hiroshima Jogakuin School.

Sister Trai Nghiem, Japanese Dharma Teacher from
Plum Village, France, will play the violin that survived the Russian Revolution and the atomic bombing of
Hiroshima, adding a healing tone to the chanting.
